As stated before in the section about me, I have realised that I am very interested in the business side of design. I noticed that whenever someone tells me about his or her project, I immediately start thinking of opportunities of how to build a business around it, how to start a company with it, what the business model could look like, etc.

 

This is why I am considering to do get a masters degree in a business field, like business administration or marketing. This way, I have a my base in design, and a specialisation in business. I am currently looking into masters programmes as we speak, looking at the UvA, Erasmus Rotterdam, and possibilities abroad. A lot of these programmes ask for experience in statistics, which is why I will be following more electives (on statistics and others) until September.

 

After this, I would love to start up my own company, although I am not sure in what yet. What I do know is that I like the design high tech world, for it’s innovativeness and dynamic culture, so the company would probably be related to this.
